Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information luxencut.com (“LuxenCut Studio”, “I”, “me”) collects when you visit the site or get in touch, why it is collected, and the choices you have. LuxenCut Studio is the portfolio of Ahmed Abdelfattah, a freelance video editor, colourist and AI film director based in Cairo, Egypt.

1. Information you give me

  • Contact form — your name, email, phone number (optional), deadline, the services you are interested in and your message. It is used only to reply to your enquiry and to prepare a quote.
  • Client reviews — the name, role / company, rating and review text you submit, plus the email address you enter (the email is never shown publicly). Reviews are moderated before they appear on the site.
  • WhatsApp, email and phone — if you contact me through WhatsApp or by email, your conversation is handled by those services under their own privacy policies.

2. Information collected automatically

  • Analytics — the site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use it: pages viewed, approximate location (city / country), device and browser type, how you arrived (search, social, direct), and which videos are opened or watched. This data is aggregated; I do not use it to identify you personally.
  • Cookies — Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (such as _ga) to tell visits apart. The site also uses essential cookies needed for it to work and for caching. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site will still work.
  • Embedded videos — some videos are played through YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) or Vimeo. When you press play, those services may collect data under their own policies.
  • Security — the hosting firewall may log IP addresses to protect the site from spam and attacks.

3. How your information is used

To reply to you, to discuss and deliver projects, to publish approved reviews, to keep the site secure, and to improve the site and the work shown on it. I do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and I do not send marketing emails unless you ask for them.

4. Who it is shared with

Only with the service providers that run the site: the web host, Google (Analytics, Search Console) and the email provider. They process data on my behalf and under their own security and privacy terms.

5. How long it is kept

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting project, then deleted on request. Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months. Published reviews stay online until you ask for them to be removed.

6. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information I hold about you, or ask for your review to be edited or removed. Just email info@luxencut.com.

7. Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
